The Unibuss electric bus project has officially ended

On Thursday 17 October a celebration was held with "electric bus cake" and Mozell in Dinamo's beautiful premises at the top of Swheigaardsgate 16. The celebration was held to mark the end of a very exciting Elbuss project.

For 18 months, Rytec and other hired resources have collaborated with Unibuss to ensure that Norway's largest electric bus fleet and electric bus charging systems have come into place. Logistics and coordination have been very demanding with over 20 different companies and over 100 different people involved.

Project Manager Tor Egil Sæve from Rytec mentioned in his speach at the celebration that openness, scheduling and risk analysis are three very important factors that must be in place for a project of this size to be successfully completed.

Rytec is now looking forward to our continiuing collaboration with Unibuss where we will make sure that the start-up of two route areas in Oslo West, the purchase of 150 buses and a new charging system for 23 electric buses is going as planned.

This will be exciting!
