Rytec attends NRSA's member meeting

On April 10 and 11, our consultant Evy Heimvik attended a NRSA member meeting in Malmö, Sweden.

Evy was Rytec’s representative at NRSA (Nordic reference group for working machines) in Malmö, which is usually held twice a year.

As a member of the NSRA and attending their member meetings, Rytec keeps informed of the latest working/yellow machine news related to the standards, regulations and application processes in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. While we are there, we also take the time to catch up with existing and potential clients, case handlers at various Railway Authorities, infrastructure owners, and other skilled professional members of the NRSA.

At this particular meeting there were lectures from the Transportstyrelsen (Swedish Railway Authority), Trafikverket (Swedish Infrastructure Manager), BaneDanmark (Danish Infrastructure Manager), operator of the Øresund Bridge, Väylä, the Danish Transport, Construction and Housing Authority, etc.

Topics covered during the member meeting included ETCS subsystem retrofits for work/yellow machines, ERA’s 4th Railway Package, OSS (One-Stop Shop) and new regulations from Trafikverket for ‘railway vehicles at work.’

On the evening of the 10th, Evy attended a very nice and social dinner arranged for the participants at Rådhuskällaren in the center of Malmö.

Rytec would like to again thank the event oganisers, and we look forward to participating in more NRSA events in the future.
