Samantha Abrego-Hernández has a technical degree with a bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree in production, mechanical engineering/mechanics, mechanical design, automation, robotics, immersiveness and mechatronics. The latter combines mechanics and electronics.

Samantha has experience as a production engineer from the Metalsa factory, where she, among other things, had the task of implementing new customer models, eventually being given the responsibility to lead improvement processes with the help of problem-solving methodologies that affected safety, quality, operating costs and efficiency.

After completing her doctorate in mechanical engineering at the renowned University of Sheffield, UK, Samantha worked as a research assistant at the university until she moved to Norway in the summer of 2020 and started at Rytec in the autumn of 2020.

She is a proactive and self-driven engineer, who is passionate about creative and innovative solutions.

She also has experience with mechanical engineering calculations, conceptual phase up to implementation and testing projects that complied with the standards and regulations in the required industry.
